Professional Dancer should present her/ his self in a honorable fashion as she/he is a physical representation of GDC. Dancer must attend all  of the pro classes per week which  include Tuesday or Thursday  and Friday 930am-12 noon the first 2 weeks of the season May 28th-June8th.

 

GDC asks that Pro Dancers provide their scheduled absences for the season no later then May28th.

All GDC Pro Dancers will receive $100 from AREA Performing Arts as a rehearsal stipend for each of the 3 weeks of rehearsal.

  If a dancer is over 15 min late to class or rehearsal this  counts as 1 unexcused absence.

GDC will only tolerate 3 absences before we will discuss termination of contract.

All pro dancers will be assigned an understudy, this understudy will be assigned to the pro  dancers spot if said dancer does not honor their contract, assigned  understudy will take their spot and their pay. Pro dancer will still be required to attend all rehearsals and will be given an opportunity to regain their job/paycheck at final dress rehearsal.

Professional Dancer will set aside the assigned rehearsal schedule as well as every Friday morning till 2pm in JULY, do understand this schedule is subject to change pending the readiness of the work for stage. Therefore by accepting this contract DO assume you will be needed at these times. Sundays drawing close to the performance, at a MIN 2 weeks prior, will be used for full show run through and full company cleaning from 630-930 pm.
 

Professional Dancer will promote  GDC Apprentice company, Professional company and all performances on his or her social media during the duration of the contract.

 

SHOW PAY:

SHOW DATES July 29th ( Final in house rehearsal)- August 5th. GDC Pro dancer will set aside this week and GDC Directors will provide a detailed show week schedule ASAP.

GDC Pro  Dancer agree to take a  equal percentage of all the ticket sales, silent auction and donations , after production costs are recovered.
